Too many frustrated publishers have been forced offshore for their printing needs, not just because of lower costs, but often because we are too focused upon the printing aspect and not the value-added services they desperately need. Much of our discussion this year will therefore cover the emerging cross-media applications and electronic publishing alternatives that both professional and self-publishers need if they want to thrive and prosper.
