We've found this rare video about PrintingForLess.com. It's a 30 minute amateur video of a plant tour in late 2006. It shows the founder, Andrew Field, taking us through his factory and talking about how he started. He places a lot of emphasis on human interaction with both customers and staff. It obviously all works very well since they started 10 years back, boasting 30% pa growth, equating to around 50 new customers per day. Remember too, these guys are turning over NZ$40m pa in sales, based out of remote Livingston. Population 8,000. That's a similar size to towns like Waiuku, Huntly, Matamata, Greymouth. In fact if we take remoteness into account, our equivalent would likely be Gore!

Unlike the other online, high-growth printer Vistaprint, who place all emphasis on self-service tools and full automation, Printingforless focus more upon quality, people and customer service, with the net simply being the tool that extends their territory, funneling work in from all around America. Amazing. We applaud them!
